Of Gilles Lades.
Literature at the scene, the journey...
The editorial line: A place in a literary way. The work is an invitation for
a country, an earth where the emotion, the rapture counts more that the
geographical or historic aspect. It is a poetic narration. A collection that
appears in a place.
Rocamadour attracts faithful and pilgrims around the Black Virgin. The
medieval city is surrounded secretly by a parade, the "Gloomy Valley" and by two
gulfs downstream: Cabouy and Saint-savior. These striking places, surround
queerness a sanctuary conceived like a theater of stone that magnifies the
initial volumes of the canyon and like a theological thought inviting, to a
double Christian postulation: the elevation and the contemplation.
